Read here the basics of how to tap.It is very simple.
You can work with a parent or carer, on your own. If it is something that is a bit deeper or harder to ge to the bottom of, then you are recommended to book with an Advanced EFT Practitoner who are trained to help with the tricky stuff.
What is bothering you?
Select on a scale from 1 to 10 how much something bothers you or how true a statement is for you,
with 10 being the biggest possible
and 0 being not at all

Start tapping the friendly point (the fleshy part at the side of your hand - below your little finger) and continue for the whole of the set up
And at the same time choose a set up statement like the one's below and say three times….…
Even though I .....(insert issue).........., I am a great girl / boy Or
Even though .........., I am a great child..
Or
Even though I have a ......................, I can feel safe now

The first round of Tapping
This the first round of the tapping sequence
You will tap on each of the following points 6 or 7 times
whilst saying out loud a reminder statement about the a specific issue………...
EB - Eye Brow
SE – Side of Eye
UE – Under the Eye
UN – Under the Nose
CH - Chin
CB – Collar bone
UA – Under arm
TH – Top of Head

Give yourself a break
Stop Tapping
Take a deep breath in and blow out all the air
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Rest your hands on your lap as you say…..
I forgive myself for .......... ; I am doing my best
I forgive .........; they are doing their best too.
Take in another big breath and then
blow out all the air

The Second Round
This the second round of the tapping sequence
You will tap on each of the following points
6 or 7 times whilst a remainder phrase out loud………...
EB - Eye Brow
SE – Side of Eye
UE – Under the Eye

How much is that thing still bothering you?
Choose on a scale from 1 to 10 how much that same bit is still bothering you or how true a statement is for you,
with 10 being the biggest possible
and 0 being not at all

Keep working on one specific issue of this problem
until the intensity has reduced to zero.
Then you are free to reassess how you feel and see what other aspects of this probelm may still disturb you and you can start to work on those one at a time.

you may choose to tap on. Tapping can help you choose to think an feel differently about any of the following.
Animals
Dogs
Ball games
Clowns
Crowded Places
Afraid of the Dark
Enclosed places
Getting Lost
Going to the Dentist
Going to the Doctor
High Places
Monsters and Creatures
Performing / Stage fright
Roller coasters and Rides
Spiders
Storms
Scary things on TV / Films/ Computer
Water / Swimming
In fact anything that gives you some sort of emotional response
Fears are resolved easily using EFT. It does not matter whether a fear is real or imagined. It does not matter how irrational a fear may seem. It will have the same effect on the body. There is nothing more liberating for a child than to be free from fear.
At the very minimum, you should be able to reduce the intensity of the fear so that it is not immobilising. In many cases there are underlying issues that need to be addressed. If the fear does not completely resolve after working with these ideas for several days, ask you child the following questions.
Why do you have the fear?
What does this fear remind you of?
What is the first time you remember having this fear?
Once you have answers to these questions, you may be advised to use EFT to address the underlying causes – which may not just be about the issue you first thought ! Trust your intuition and work on other area that you think your child will benefit from.
